Guide Gear Men's Insulated Monolithic Hunting Boots, Waterproof, Thinsulate 2,400 Gram is rated 4.4896 out of 5 by 192.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feet are finally WARM I have purchased several Guide Gear brand premium boots over the years and have learned many things. Usually Guide Gear equipment is a very good value and is a much lower priced alternative to brand name equipment of the same style or function. With that said, I believe these boots are the exception to that rule. I have never had a pair of boots that seemed so light, put together so well, very attractive looking, and so well insulated from any manufacturer. They are in a class all by themselves! I did purchase them 2 sizes larger than my normal footwear just so I could install a boot pack liner in them. A damp liner is much easier to dry out in the north woods camper than a pair of large, muddy hunting boots! These boots are an excellent buy at twice the price, but I am glad they weren't.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overall boots Overall I'm very happy with the purchase of these boots and if given the chance I would buy a second pair. My main goal was to find a pair of boots that would keep my feet warm/comfortable whiel snoveling snow. I'm happy to say that mother nature gave me 6 feet of snow this winter here in southern new hampshire and these boots have performed better than expected. I have been outside in temperatures ranging from low 30's to near 0 and my feet never got cold or even close to it. Now with that said, I stopped short of a 5 star rating because these boots are massive, they weight just under 3 pounds, and they do take some getting used to. I also don't suggest using them in temperatures above 30 as your feet will start to overheat. Oh yeah, 2 hours snowmobiling in 15 degree temperature and feet were just fine.i'm attaching a photo so you can see the difference in boot size between timberlands and these.I've attached a photo for reference

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT BUY A bit clunky, I call them my herman munster boots. Overall a good boot at a great price

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My wife likes them.....that means I like them Took the wife out ice fishing when it was 20 degrees. She gets cold easily but her feet stayed warm. 2400 g of Thinsulate is the highest I have seen, but these boots honestly weren't that bulky. They have a nice tread on them too. For a light to medium activity boot I think these will work great for my wife for a long time, but for sitting in a tree stand late deer season I think a non-Thinsulate boot might be needed. Time will tell.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't Fit I ordered boots a full size larger than I needed (size 10.5 and I wear a 9.5) and they were still too small. The boots look like they would be good.
