Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shorts for summer action These quick drying shorts are great for outdoor activity. My only gripe is that the zipper stops short a little higher than I want, when unzipped. It would be more comfortable if it went further down the crotch, to facilitate easy access when going to the bathroom(1).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not anything like the picture In the picture the shorts look like comfortable cotton shorts when in reality they are a stiff nylon/plastic material. I probably won't ever use them but I'm not going to take the time, money or effort to send them back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Liked the older model better The inseam on these new ones are 9" and the older ones were 6". I liked the shorter - 6" inseam better. I also like the mesh lining.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wasn't pleased with the feel of the fabric compared with other river shorts I own. Also, the belt is made in such a way as to make it nearly impossible to remove it for washing. The main problem with the shorts, though, was the plastic belt buckle cracked the first time they were worn. The actual pair with the cracked buckle was the camo colored ones, but assumed that if one cracked, the other on the khaki pair was like to do the same thing, so I returned them both.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Originally ordered medium.they were too small. had to return for large. Now large is too big. Medium to 34". Large starts at 36". So how about us 35" waists???? Also advertised 9" inseam. Inseam is actually 8".

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very nice , well made shorts, but are cut and made on the small side. A Large is more like a Medium. Other reviews warned of this too, and they are true. If you wear a large, better order an X-Large, otherwise you will not even get them to button up. I have run into this before with clothing items from S.G. Listen to the other reviews. I would suggest to the S.G. merchandise management team, to at least have someone to try them on before you list them for sale.
