Guide Gear Extreme Comfort Hang On Tree Stand is rated 4.2636 out of 5 by 110.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice stand for the money! This stand is very comfortable, in fact it's so comfortable you can easily sleep in it! It's not real portable and when hanging it is better to have a helper but, once up it is nice!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extreme Comfort Tree Stand Negatives: The stand is heavy and bulky. It is difficult to carry through thick cover and standing corn. Due to its weight, it is difficult to hang in a tree. It also can be difficult to enter from the tree once hung.Positives: Once hung in a tree, it is extremely comfortable to sit in. You could easily remain in the stand all day (much like an Easy-Chair Recliner or a reclining lawn chair). The price is exceptional for the amount of comfort quality received.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fourth Time This is the fourth one of these I have purchased. They are so comfortable and so much easier to sit in than the "regular" upright tree stands. You will not regret getting one, or two, or three, or even four. The only downside is the material on their cushion squeaks against the foam when you move. If you don't have to sit up while your target is near, you will be fine (like my P&Y Black Bear this year). My brother swapped the material cover for soft camo fabric from the sewing store. His is absolutely silent now. Comfort is the name of the game when sitting long hours. This one leaves all the others I have in the dust. Enjoy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Price I have installed this stand on the tree and it works great. Very Comfortable and will allow me to sit long periods of time. Only issue I have is the noise of the seat cushion. Could change the fabric to be less noisy. Other wise a like my stand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Stand I have four of these stands and really like them, but I need replacement seats like the original ones. How can I get them? Not the cheap cushion type!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Teribble seat The design of this seat is awful. If you are trying to be quiet this is not the stand for you. I have issues with the amount of noise that it makes everytime I move. In addition to the noise the strap design that holds the top of the seat to the frame doesn't work and regularly comes unfastened. I had a buck come in to the right of my stand and as I turned the seat made a lot of noise and then one of the straps came undone and causing me to drop down in the frame of the stand clanking my rifle on the stand. Needless to say this stand cost me a buck and I will be looking for a new stand to purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not hunt-able with the current foam seat material - must be replaced. This stand is very comfortable. It has a good design with a great shooting rail. The locking to the tree is good, with a chain and two ratchet straps. The issue is the seat noise. As is, the seat is unacceptable to use for hunting. This seat is loud! The problem is with the foam used in the seat. I tired the following to quiet the stand: 1) took the foam out of the nylon cover. 2) attempted to place a trash bag around the foam an reinsert in the cover - still loud. 3) tired to use tape around the foam - still loud. 4) tired to peel away the outer layer of the foam - still loud when inserted in the cover. The only solution was to discard the provided foam and use an alternative. To replace the foam, 20"x17"x2", is expensive and hard to find. I was able to find neoprene foam that once cut to size, was inserted in the cover, re-stitched, and provided an excellent seat. The problem is that it costs around $40.The stand is bulky, but if you remove two screws that hold the vertical bars that the shooting rail rests on, then tape things together and add some shoulder straps the stand can be easily transported long distances by one person. In summary, the stand is very sturdy, well designed, with a great shooting rail, but the seat must be replaced. The $70 stand turns into a $110 stand to make hunt-able. Once that is done it will be your favorite stand but it is not as good of deal as you might think.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stand for the price! I purchased this lock on based on several factors. The weight rating of 300 lbs, the padded shooting/safety rail, the large platform, and padded sling seat. I have now hunted out of this stand, spending the entire day on several occasions. This is by far the most comfortable lock-on stand I have ever hunted. The padded safety rail flips up for stand access and in the down position provides added security from falling. The sling seat is adjustable allowing you to sit very erect or be able to recline. The only negative thing I can say about this stand is once assembled there is no way to remove the sling seat to keep it out of the weather after season unless you take the stand down.
