Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag - Exactly as Pictured and Plenty Large I was very happy with the large size of this backpack dry bag and its heavy weight construction. It will easily hold items like sleeping bags and clothes and keep them dry on extended canoe trips. The attached shoulder straps and waist band will make it easy to carry over portages. I think this is one of the best values in a dry bag I have ever seen. I have never left a review before but this one is simply too nice not to recommend. AAA+++

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Value! Purchased for canoe camping along local rivers and in the Boundary Waters area. I was skeptical when I purchased the bag because of the price. I was very pleasantly surprised as the quality and durability of the bag when I received it. The bag is not as large as advertised and buyers should know that the bag will not stretch like a traditional backpack. As with any other high adventure endeavor, how and what you pack is very important. The bag was very adequate to hold my gear for a relatively luxurious 4-day canoe trek. The bag sat in the floor of the canoe (straps up) and, as expected, was sitting in about 1/2" of standing water all day long each day. I noted no leaks upon beaching for camp each day. I did not portage with the pack on the trip, but I find the bag to be comfortable to carry with a full equipment load. It has a very solid and durable feel and I am not worried about tearing the bag when loading/unloading and do not believe that stray brush will pose a threat to the bag when portaging. As with all my treks, I packed items I wished to keep dry in ultra sil dry sacks before I put them in the main pack. I did not find any water in the pack after each day on the water - ever. I was confident enough in the pack to pack my down summer sleeping bag on the trek and I was not disappointed. The greatest limitation to this bag is the fixed size of the bag. It is rather narrow from front to back and it does not stretch, so you must pack your equipment in a manner that eliminates dead space. You must also be sure that you don't have any sharp edges against the pack itself. Once you master that, you should be good to go.I will use this pack on my summer Boundary Waters trek and will provide an updated review after the trek.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes a small, but dry, portage pack Since I won't be actually using this on a canoe trip for several months I wanted to give it an initial test before putting it away for the winter.I stuffed as much bedding into the pack as it would hold and gave it a thorough drenching with a garden hose. Hitting it with water from all angles, and with pressure from a hose end sprayer, it did not leak a drop. No leaks at any of the seams and no leaks around the top opening. The pack material is heavy and very durable looking and the stitching and seam sealing look well done. The straps are a little on the lightweight side but I will be using this pack as a portage pack on canoe trips and most portages are not very long so pack comfort is not of great importance. And the pack is not really large enough to carry a great deal of weight so the straps are probably adequate. The hip belt is a nice feature that is often missing on this type of pack. I wish it had a grab loop at the top because after the top is closed the only way to lift it is with the straps which can put a 'side pull' on the stitching - something I try to avoid with all my packs. The size - no where near the advertised 91 liter/5600 cu in. When packed full with bedding and top closed the pack forms a cylinder about 12.5" in diameter and 30" length. That comes to about 60 liters and 3700 cu in. It would make a good portage pack for a female or youth to carry.Overall, except for the misrepresented size, I think this will be a good pack. Definitely worth the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needed a dry pack for canoe trip and figured I couldn't go too wrong for the price. Impressed with the quality and performance of the bag after using - well constructed and solid. Only complaint is the size...listed as 90L but is more like 60L useful volume. That is my only complaint and it is very much negated by the quality and value of the bag. I have and will continue to strongly recommend this product to my Scouts and Venturers who are preparing for a Boundary Waters trek next summer.
