Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Price... Great price, but it didn't work! Tried three pieces of meat very similar to what is picutured in the add and all of them truned to mush and had to use a brush to clean the "paste" off the rollers. Frustrated, took a hammer to the rest of the meat I wanted to tenderize!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as expected!!! This product does not perform well. The meat has to be cut so thin to feed through the tenderizer, that it is already thin enough to be tenderized!! If you do not cut the meat thin, it just binds up at the top and drags a little piece of meat through. We even tried feeding it through with a wooden spoon. Very disappointed in this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from cheap enough I cant get it to do the 1/2 thick steaks it says it will do. On thinner selections it works awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Very easy to use right out of box!!! As for any bad reviews on this product,, keep in mind it only cost $36 and that was with shipping. The only negative thing is it doesn't accept .5 inch meat, but its not a problem cutting it smaller, I still give it 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Guide Gear Cast Iron Meat Tenderizer The guide Gear Meat Tenderizer is top in it's field. Every cut of meat that I have put through it has come out falling apart tender when it is prepared. From steak to chicken to chops it has worked really great I couldn't ask for anything better. It bet's the old fashion tenderizing hammers hands down. I'm very well satisfied with my experiences with my Guide Gear Products they are all super great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from For thin cuts only Built solid, however don't try anything over the recommended 1/2" (which most steaks are). If this was adjustable out to 1", it would be awesome as the next model up is $100. Good for your own cuts but not store bought steaks unless they are thin.
