Guide Gear Cast Iron Meat Tenderizer is rated 3.8961 out of 5 by 77.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Product This product is a good choice for beef and beef products. However, I was looking for something for processing chicken and this did not do the job. It shredded the chicken into pieces instead of just tenderizing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I am very pleased with the SG meat tenderizer. It works great and cleans up easy. I was so pleased I purchased two more as gifts. Great for venison and elk.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from the price was good Like most of the other reviews. It does not meet the advertised expatiations. It won't take meat any thicker than 1/4 in thick.Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Price... Great price, but it didn't work! Tried three pieces of meat very similar to what is picutured in the add and all of them truned to mush and had to use a brush to clean the "paste" off the rollers. Frustrated, took a hammer to the rest of the meat I wanted to tenderize!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as expected!!! This product does not perform well. The meat has to be cut so thin to feed through the tenderizer, that it is already thin enough to be tenderized!! If you do not cut the meat thin, it just binds up at the top and drags a little piece of meat through. We even tried feeding it through with a wooden spoon. Very disappointed in this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from cheap enough I cant get it to do the 1/2 thick steaks it says it will do. On thinner selections it works awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Very easy to use right out of box!!! As for any bad reviews on this product,, keep in mind it only cost $36 and that was with shipping. The only negative thing is it doesn't accept .5 inch meat, but its not a problem cutting it smaller, I still give it 5 stars.
