Reviews
Guide Gear Base Camp 10 Tent is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Family Encampment Every year, a group of us go to a big, camping event on the Pacific Coast. Last year, we bought 3 of these tents to accommodate the whole group and they worked great. The winds where we camp can get extreme (literally ripping tents apart), but these, with their aero-dynamic shape, held up well, if properly oriented to the wind. It can also get very wet (rain and fog and mist) and these seemed to handle it well (tho' I'll likely spray add'l waterproofing on them) Very roomy, easy to set up with a bit of practice and with multiple configurations available. As with all tents, anymore, the provided "stakes" are worse than useless, so get your own. They do lack a bit of ventilation and the rear "tent within a tent" notion is a bit weird and pointless, but, all in all, a great family tent that will hold you and all your stuff, with a covered vestibule to play in if you want (or change the lay-out to maximize either enclosed or open space).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very good, price should be $150 I didnt realize floor was seperate, it leaks bad but as with all tents in mts always bring "tarp", NEED BIGGER STAKES--luckily I bought extra only bc I read another review on here. tent doesnt mesh with ground as I made number of adjustments. More of a summer tent if it doesnt rain. Positives its roomy and thats about it. I would not suggest this to an outdoors person like me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What we got was the wrong item! Mismatched parts, that didn't fit together, shipped in correctly labeled box. Also very flimsy and no instructions. You guys usually do much better than this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from sadly this tent didn't meet my expectations and i have returned it. it is a great idea and the basic design is cool but the quality is very bad. i set the tent up in my yard for a weekend to check it out. it leaked badly in light rain..2 seams ripped in a light breeze, there is no mesh on the main door or windows..not enough ventilation the floor does not really work and leaks badly in the bedroom. the tent steaks it comes with are useless and this tent requires good stakes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have not set it up yet but I will when I go to Idaho hunting. My daughter is in a wheel chair and this should work great for her and should be very accommodating for her. I have high exspectations for this tent, thank you.
