Reviews
Guide Gear 5-in-1 Jump Starter with Power Inverter & Air Compressor is rated 4.3962 out of 5 by 106.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used for camping and CPAP unit.. I do Civil War reenacting and use the unit to power my CPAP unit in my tent. It will run the unit for up to 2 1/2 nights, which is a bit more time than I actually need. I also use it to charge my cell phone when needed. I liked the unit so much, I purchased a second unit as a backup for around the house. The only thing I don't like about it, is the position of the "Power Inverter" switch on the back which turns on the fan unit. It could accidentally get turned on without you knowing it and discharge the battery. I place a piece of duct tape over mine and it has never happen again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everybody should have at least one. This is the second one I have bought for myself, and I have given three to single women friends. During blackouts I have run a small television, remote phone, and a 100 watt bulb for over two hours (using two units). I have not used them for more than three hours at a time, so I don't know how long a charge will last. I recharge after every use, and the first of every month (this is earthquake country, I also fire up the generator and check the water supply). I have had limited success jump starting a car (about half the time). I have burned out the compressor on the first unit, and also the one on a similar product, so follow the caveats in the instructions, and err on the side of caution. I bought this second unit because the compressor is really handy for pumping up bicycles tires and balls. I burned out the last one on a big 1957 Cadillac tire. It was too much for the little compressor, though, to be honest, it did pump it up enough to drive to the gas station before it died. I feel good about having three power packs available for the frequent short outages we have. The first one I bought a few years ago still takes and holds a charge well. It is also great in the van to plug in a massage/heating pad for long trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved the Day! Driving in the city waiting for a traffic light a pedestrian told me my rear tire was flat.Surely it was and there was what looked like a bolt stuck into it. In minutes the compressor inflated the flat tire and after waiting 5 minutes to see on the gauge that the pressure was not deflating rapidly I was able to drive to a garage and quickly had it fixed. It saved me a lot of time and trouble.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5-in-1 Jumpstarter with Compressor This is a great emergency tool to carry in your vehicle. I do have a Road Service Membership but sometimes it takes them 60 to 90 minutes to arrive to help me with a jump start or a tire that needs inflating. This Jumpstarter is easy and safe to operate. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no good Had it charged and ready, first time use would not start car outside in the cold weather, recharged overnight and wouldn't even start motorcycles the next day. Maybe I got the lemon model. Same color as a lemon. Sent it back.
