Rated 4 out of 5 by from finally the quality is better I have been buying this brand for years....but in the last couple the quality has dropped off significantly......way to thin, the sizes have changed, and wearing out way to soon, I started sending them back because they would not last .But finally this last 2 pair that I ordered have come out are the same quality as in the years past and have order long as there that quality I will continue to order more...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price, but..... Jean's are well made, but the cell phone pocket is not functional. Too small.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fourth pair! Bought for riding - double knee adds a layer of protection from the elements - and avoid having to wear chaps when the temperature falls. Wore out the first two pair in less than 2 years. Latest pair had the cell phone pocket stitched closed..?? Seam removed with pocket knife, problem solved!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Pants These pants are very comfortable but a lot thinner than I expected.I got them to ride because of the double thick knees but I doubt that it will help much with road rash. I have a pair of Wrangler jeans that are thicker the knees.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT Jeans I first purchased a couple pairs of these jeans about four years ago. The only problem with them, after about 18mos, is that both pairs have ripped on both legs at the top of the knee patch. This is a high stress area when climbing, crouching or otherwise being active. I felt they would eventually rip because I could feel the tension from the heavy patch area even while riding my cruiser. I love the extra protection and the tear is not a huge problem as it gives them a little character and it can be patched...can be.. I don't worry about it. I still wear them and I'm back for a few more pairs!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Guide Gear, 1977 Men's Stone Washed jeans. I have both these for my husband as his work pants, along with the felt inside, and the regular jean. For the last 10 years no problems. I've ordered again but the quality is not the same.Recently one pair the material just dissolved near the crotch area, a few other pairs the pockets in front have ripped out very thin material. I was going to order more to replace the bad ones but will hold off on that decision for awhile. I don't know who was making the pants before but those were great he still have a few while the newer ones have so many problems. I wish I knew how to send a photo from my phone to the computer so you could see the problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mystery size pants Ordered both Utility & carpenter jeans; 38 waist which were about 4 in. too big; returned those for 36 waist which were 4 in. too small; I guess at this manufacturer between 38W & 36W is 8 in.
