Guide Gear 17' Extreme Comfort Ladder Tree Stand is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Recliner in the trees!!! This stand is a Cadillac when it comes to comfort. It's only drawbacks are I wish it was a little taller in overall height and the ratchet straps are on the cheaper side otherwise the perfect comfort stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stand! Great stand. Easy setup. Would recommend small horizontal bar on bottom ladder section. This would keep it from sinking into the ground. That way You don' have to carry a small board to the woods with you. Thanks for a great stand at a great price. Two other family members also bought this stand on my advise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seat too noisy This stand has some positive things going for it. For one thing it's very well made and plenty sturdy. It also makes very little noise when climbing in or out of it. The seat however is horrible. The material is extremely noisy and the straps to adjust the height are a real pain. Once adjusted you have to keep your feet on the footrest to avoid sliding out of the stand because the material is so slippery. This stand would be great if the seat was completely redesigned and the bar underneath it was removed. I cannot recommend this stand because of these issues.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Built for price not practicality Overall a decent stand. Assembly instruction leave much to be desired, but after swapping out a few pieces it all comes together. The stand is difficult to attach to tree due to long platform base. Unfortunately since the seat does not fold up, your left with a relatively small base to stand on for bow hunting. If they ever redesign this stand with a collapsable seat they would have a real winner. Let's talk about the seat a second, could they make it out of a louder material? It's going to be tough to get out of the seat without making a lot of noise. I'm not trying to talk anyone out of the stand, for the money it's worth it I guess. It just falls far short of design considerations of your more expensive models.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Things I like, seems well constructed, comfortable. Dislikes, instructions are horrible, hard to ratchet the deck to the tree, the sling seat is bolted in so you can't put it up quickly. I usually take the seats off so they stay dry and animals don't tear it up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY comfortable stand. Great when all set up but difficult to set up since it sticks out from the tree so far it is almost inmossible to get that main strap around the tree from standing on the ladder. Bring a ladder to strap from the back side.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seat strap sewn in backwards..(upside down)..had to tie it together...one of the quick clip bolts was missing. Seat is very comfortable and stand is sturdy.
