Rated 2 out of 5 by from The ad did not elude to the need for challenging and specific gunsmith alterations required to make the scope attach and zero-in on the Mosin Nagant rifle. I purchased the scope because of the heavy gage 3 post reticle, (for ease of use in lo/no light scenarios). The fact that the scope reticle design holds true to the WWII original, re: the reticle moves with the zero knobs, rather than the field-of-view, (such as in modern designs),its not simple to keep the reticle centered w/bore for zero.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unit a decent value for the cost. Base could be machined better but for the price one can not expect more. Scope covers take away from the over all look, bought replica covers that make the overall appearance more true to the original product. Would buy a PE type scope before a PU type. Unless your a machinist leave the mounting to a pro.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The advertisement did not state that it would take a gun smith to drill holes for this scope or that I would have to go to the expense to have this done. I don't have ready acess to a gunsmith so I returned this scope because of this. I did have very good customer service to easily accomplish the return.
