Edge™ Yote Coyote Decoy. Brings the wariest predators in close!

Seeing another "coyote" will help approaching predators let their guard down and come in close, thinking they might steal a quick meal or find a mate.

But don't judge all coyotes by Wile E. Coyote's low standard... they're not as stupid as they look, and it'll take more than a flimsy cut-out to bring one in. Enter Yote Coyote! Life-sized, realistic, with a faux-fur tail that blows in the breeze. Made from lightweight rubber for easy folding and transportation.

Great product at a decent price. Bought them before but the deer keep stomping them!

Shipped faster than expected shipping date. Box arrived almost ripped in half but no damage to the decoy. Recommend opening decoy up (decoy wrapped in plastic) and letting it return to original shape. Have not used it yet because so cold but both of my labs barked at it and hair raised on their backs.....good sign.

A Predator/Varmint Hunter’s Gear Checklist

Here is a checklist to make sure you have all the necessary gear before you head out on your next predator/varmint hunting adventure!

Best Calls For Coyotes

Predator calls are available in two main categories, mouth-blown calls and digital callers, or electronic callers if you prefer. Which one you use is totally up to you. You can call in coyotes with either. Me, I'm a 50/50 guy. I use mouth callers about half of the time and a digital caller half of the time. In this column, I will focus on mouth calls, which have worked for me.

The Predator Edge

I've heard skilled predator hunters make statements like "bobcats and fox are easy to fool" by using a distress call. Well, if that's true, why can't I call one into gun range, I wondered? I asked an expert for advice on hunting predators and learned a lot.

Coyote Hunting Basics: Part 1 Of 2

During that seasonal gap between chasing whitetails and hunting spring turkeys, there aren't many game animals to pursue. But there's still a lot of fun to be had in the wild, whether you're shooting a bullet, shotgun shell or arrow. The quarry? Predator dogs, namely coyotes.

Gun Care Tips

There are few things we will ever own that will last a lifetime, let alone last past the time when we are no longer here. A good firearm, however, unlike most investments, will last a lifetime and beyond if properly cared for. Here are some gun care tips to help preserve your precious firearms.
