Dave Barnhouse Framed Print "Time of Plenty".

My friend, the artwork of Dave Barnhouse is exceptional... there's no other word to describe it!  Dave's work will look wonderful on your walls at home and at your cabin. We've priced this beauty within easy reach, so reserve your Print now before they're gone!

The charm of rural Americana is an obvious inspiration for Barnhouse's "Time of Plenty"! Framed in wide Brown with Copper and Copper overhang molding, top mat and a inner mat. Is there a better time of year than autumn? In this work, Barnhouse depicts a farm at the end of a day that's been very productive. In this image, the artist takes us to the farm at the end of a productive day.

The farmer taught the hunters how to use a goose call, and now in gratitude for that, and for being allowed to hunt on the farmer's land, he gifts the farmer with his first goose. "This scene is a page from my youth," Barnhouse has said. "I remember the contentment at the end of the day, when you've accomplished the job you set out to do, whether its working the land or hunting waterfowl. It's this sense of peace and neighborliness that I like to portray in my art."

Dave Barnhouse treasures his country background, and it shows in his distinctive style! Every piece he creates recalls his fond memories of rural and small town America... and makes the viewer feel a sudden, delightful rush of country memories. They let you easily imagine that you are actually present, and part of the scene! Dave's art has earned many awards and honors. He has been voted one of America's most popular artists by U.S. ART Magazine, and was twice included in Inform Art's "Top Ten Hottest Artists" list.

He is quoted as saying, "I want my art to make people feel as if they were back home on a Friday evening, so they can experience the warmth of a cozy fire and smell the homemade bread and cookies coming from the oven," he says. You'll agree that it does that and more each time you enjoy it on the wall of your home or cabin! Made in the USA. Measures 28 x 37 1/2.

The charm of rural Americana is an obvious inspiration for Barnhouse's "Passing Time"! Framed in molding that's wide Dark Brown with carved center edges, top mat and inner mat. The artist muses that the retired railroad workers shown in a friendly game of checkers are waiting to watch the Mainliner zoom past them on the nearby track. After each has spent many years working hard, they can relax while still watching for the trains they still feel a part of. It's possible that they're so into the game that they're talking very little. On the other hand, they may have lively banter flowing among them about mutual railroad memories, or even the latest sports news.
