Reviews
CVA Optima .50 cal. Black Powder Pistol is rated 4.8519 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gun I bought this after I purchased the V-2 rifle. What a great pair of firearms!! They are well built, made in the USA. This is my first attempt at muzzle loaders. I'm in LOVE!! I got a great price on both of them. They are a dream to work on as I put on sights, slings and scopes on both, and bought all the accessories. Now all I need is the snow to melt so I can go to the outdoor range a try this baby out. Coupled with White Hots, powerbelts, and also 209 primers, its a great system for the first timer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little muzzleloader - and it's the V2 I wasn't sure if I'd get the V2 or not, based on the picture, it looked like it should be the V2, but it wasn't noted - thankfully it is the V2 and this is the best price you can find for it. Will be nice to tot this around when early ML runs with archery, for slightly longer shots than I'd take with my xbow.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The pistol after the damaged box was examined appears to be well made and all components were intact the breech plug was easy to remove, and they include a palm saver an extended ramrod, filler screws, and two sling screws,All in All it is a rugged pistol and I can't wait to use it afield. The only flaw was the the way it was boxed and sent out in deplorable contition. The gun was very fine and luckly for me nothing was missing or damaged. This has never happened before .So the mdse. was fine
