Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fine quality leather 1911 holster I bought the holster with the leather wrap around strap and flap on the back. I got it for my Remington R1 and it fits it like a glove. It is made of high quality leather and will last a lifetime. The only thing I didn't like about it was when I take the pistol out of it the bottom would of the holster would come up with it. No problem, I just took a leather punch and punched a couple of small holes in the bottom rear of the holster right above the white thread and the flap behind it. I took a piece of leather shoe lace and tied the holster to the flap as tight as I could and hot glued the knot. It looks like it was made that way and works flawlessly. A very good buy for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very attractive holster. Hammer strap is vital as firearms fit is loose. Quality is good. The holster requires a 2-2 1/2 inch belt for proper fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So I made two adjustments. 1)I drilled out the two rivets that held the "1911" cross strap and tighten that strap. 2)I punched the two holes at the very bottom of holster and backing leather and laced them together with rawhide. This will keep the holster from pulling up and allow me to take it apart to oil the leather when needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great holster would of liked to see bottom of gun holster fastened to the back of the holster so when you pull out gun it does not come apart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this holster! It is a perfect home for my Remington R1. I own many holsters including Crossbreed. This is one of the best built that I own! This thing should be $100.00. Thanks Sportsmans Guide.
