Details & Specs

Caldwell® Fire Control® Front Rest for rock - solid stability shot after shot.

Unmatched accuracy, precision and repeatability for sighting-in, load development or competition! The secret is in the Fire Control® technology that allows continuous adjustment of the front forend support using just your fingertips. Once the coarse adjustments have been made to position the rest, the control arm allows fluid movement for precise crosshair alignment without having to change shooting position to loosen or tighten rest components. The end result is unmatched control of crosshair alignment in a rock solid shooting platform that delivers better accuracy than any other!

On target:
  • Base is cast iron
  • Gears and racks are machined to tight tolerances for a silky, precision feel
  • Stainless steel feet for leveling and anchoring
  • Coarse elevation adjustment range: 4" at rest
  • Control arm adjustment: approx. 60 MOA (5'@100yds)
  • Measures 28 x 9". Weighs 18 lbs.

Get Accuracy By Using A Shooting-Sticks Bipod

Hunters go to ridiculous lengths to squeeze that last little bit of accuracy out of their rifles. They'll invest hundreds of dollars in guns and ammo and hundreds of hours of practice to get their groups one-half-inch tighter. But for less than $1 and one-half-hour at the workbench, you can increase your actual "hunting" accuracy 25 percent or more. All you have to do is make yourself a shooting-sticks bipod.

Scope Clarity: It’s Not The Glass

I get a bit irked when folks talk about the "good glass" in scopes. It's not the glass; it's the coatings! After touring several scope manufacturing plants and talking with several optical engineers, I've learned that glass is glass. They don't buy "cheap," "better" and "best" glass to put in these instruments.
