BSA Sweet .22 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope, Matte Black is rated 4.7052 out of 5 by 251.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The price is great This is the first BSA scope I have own. I must say it was very ease to mount and very ease to zero in. The scope is very clear. The price the quality of the scope you couldn't get a better scope if you paid 3 to 4 hundred dollar for it. I love the scope and if you want a good scope at a good price by all means buy this one. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great performance I just had the opportunity to mount the scope and go to the range to zero it. It was very easy to bring the scope to dead center at 50 yards and it maintained its zero after 150 rounds. when mounting this scope, keep in mind that due to the 40mm size it is necessary to use high scope rings. I would recommend this product to anyone. It is a very good product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken out of box Ordered BSA sweet 22 for my Savage mark II. Went not holding zero was understatement. round would hit 3 ft high, then 3 ft low to the right the next shot. Made sure everything was mounted tightly, no luck whatsoever. I think I got a defective scope, will be returning this one and trying a new one. No way they all are this bad. Will update review when I get a working scope. Quality did seem great for the price, kinda disappointing it didn't work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality exceeds what you are paying. The price was right so I dropped the hammer on this with the free shipping for orders over $39 deal. This scope is worth much more than I paid for it, it's a great value.Installed it on my Marlin model 60 with cheap Wally World scope rings I already had, and it worked fine. Zeroed at 50 yards and it seems to be hitting true. Glass is good in low light too, I checked it out.I just can't seem to miss now, which is a good thing since 22LR is harder to get that gold for the last 4 years. I contemplated buying some 22LR, but in the end I decided no more misses was the better deal, and at the end of the day I got to keep the scope. If you are on the fence about this scope and you own A 22, just drop the hammer on this, it's a great price and value, you won't regret getting this scope. Here is a few photo's of it on my 1ST generation Marlin model 60 for you guys with Marlins. I also took all 4 pictures with my old 4x scope that I used the rings from, so you guys with that scope on a Marlin can duplicate my set up. As you can see it's a bit longer than my old scope, and a bit bigger in Dia.Note my front sights, be careful how far back you push the scope or it will come into contact with the front sights. As you can see the scope couldn't get much closer to the barrel, which is perfect. They need to allow us to just upload what images we have, all 3 of my images were over 5 megabytes, shouldn't have to mod them, I guess you people will have to settle for the butchered images.Hard to tell in the photo's at much reduced size, but scope is clear of rear sight with my old rings by over 1/8th of an inch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A really neat scope The BSA Sweet 22 scope has to be the easiest scope to sight in. Set it up for 25 yards, match the ammo you are using, 36,38 or 40 grain and you are automaticly on paper. Two clicks and you're in the bulls eye.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Price & Product The accuracy of the Sweet series of scopes is outstanding and the light transmission is excellent. This price is about the best you'll ever see. One caveat - I learned the hard way to NOT use cheapo sheet metal see-through mounts. Use something solid; you'll be glad you did.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value I purchased a sweet 17 about a year ago and it has been great, so when I had the chance to get the sweet 22 at such a great price I bought it. Put it on rifle and can shoot 1 1/2 in groups at 100 yrds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accuracy is spot on. I put this scope on my Marlin 995. Used the 40-gr. turret with Thunderbolts at 1255 f.p.s. Zeroed at 50, then put the target back to 100 yds., turned the turret to "100". Shot was right on bullseye. Very pleased with this scope.

You should reconsider mounting a scope on a Nylon 66, due to the fact that the scope would be mounted on the receiver cover. Why is that an issue? Because the receiver cover is independent of the barrel assembly and thus cannot be relied on to remain sighted in. The receiver cover is mounted to the flexible nylon stock by two cross stock screws, and not to the barrel or barrel assembly. In order for any gun to remain sighted in, the scope must be mounted directly to the barrel, or barrel assembly. So, you see, mounting a scope on a Remington Nylon 66 will only get you hits in the general area of your target, and not accurately on your target. I have a Remington Nylon 66, have mounted scopes on the gun, and am well aware of this failing in the design of the weapon. <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: deerflyguy</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2015-07-04</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="1530583"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> What is he mfg# on this scope? </h2> <div class="bvseo-question-detail"> </div> <div class="bvseo-author">Asked by: Jean</div> <div class="bvseo-answer" data-answerid="1799677"> Model number 22-39X40A0. <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Customer Service</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2015-07-04</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="1502956"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> I have a henry, 22 Mag, will this scope fit/ work with this rim fire? </h2> <div class="bvseo-question-detail"> </div> <div class="bvseo-author">Asked by: Gene</div> <div class="bvseo-answer" data-answerid="1769700"> This compensated scope is only designed for the .22 LR caliber and is not set up correctly for the .22 Magnum caliber. <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Customer Service</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2015-07-01</div> </div> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-questionsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-questionsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-questions--> <!--begin-pagination--> <ul id="bvseo-paginationSection"> <li class="bvseo-paginationItem"><a class="bvseo-paginationLink" href="http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/bsa-sweet-22-3-9x40mm-rifle-scope-matte-black?a=689053&bvrrp=Main_Site-en_US/questions/product/2/178951.htm">BSA Sweet .22 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope, Matte Black Questions - page 2</a></li> </ul> <!--end-pagination--><ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">2015-08-02T17:54CST</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_cps, prod_bvqa, vn_cps_3.1.5</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasquestionsanswers, tq_23</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_US, sid_178951, PRD, sort_recentAnswersFirst</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_sportmansguide</li></ul><!--end-bvseo-questions--><!--BVSEO|dz:Main_Site-en_US|sdk:v1.0.7.0-n|msg:timer 31ms -->
