Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not powered as advertised Very disappointed. Always faithful to Briggs and Stratton so I didn't think twice about picking one of these up. Got it home, followed the start manual. Hooked it up to a chop saw and circular saw, which it advertises it will run and it didn't. I then hooked it up to my 1500 watt heater just to test it. On low or 750 watts it was flashing the overload light, med or 1200 watts it stayed on and bogged down. At high or 1500 watts it bogged down until it almost died then tripped the circuit. Really hoping I can get a refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not start I would not recommend this generator because it never started. However, I've had other products with B&S engines and was very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Quiet and very portable I bought this when the generator on my motorhome broke down. I have yet to take it out for a weekend but I have hooked it up and it has no problem running the refrigerator and all my lighting and a DVD player and exhaust fans. I would have given it a 5 star rating but like I said I haven't taken the motorhome out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Sump Pump Backup Ice storm took out my power and I wanted a small dedicated generator to run my sump pump (1\3 HP). This runs great and sips fuel.It is also easy enough for my wife to roll out and start up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from P2000 Works Great! I have no complaints on this little guy for the work it dishes out. Its great on fuel, very quiet and does what it says. Starts up after one, maybe two pull at the most. Common sense plays a roll here people. If you are going to be running the unit near peak power most of the time, then this isn't for you neither is the Honda. They both might work but you will be stressing the unit out all the time. Always buy a genset/inverter bigger than what you need it for. Safe bet what I use and seems to work is the 75% rule. Not peak either, if you are running on a normal basis 750 watts, then make sure your unit is good for at least 1000 watts continuous not surge and so on. This way you don't stress the unit out and it will last you a lot longer as mine has. Price wise its a great buy, I also have Honda's to which are great don't get me wrong. I own over 15 plus gensets for job sites I have all over NYC and depending on the job and the usage I highly recommend the P2000 especially since its almost half of what the Honda's cost me and seem to disappear a lot less than the Honda's do. As in anything in life, you pay for what you get for.
