Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to my arsenal This will be a great addition to my arsenal of deer stands. It's very comfortable to sit in and the portability and being able to use this in brush and other areas where the trees are not large enough to use a normal stand will be very useful. Everything came one carton and all the parts were there, the instructions were ok and it was very simple to assemble. . . I’m very happy with it. (I only gave it four stars because you can't really stand up to stretch your legs, it's a "sit only" deer stand")

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tripod for the money I set the stand up on a Monday and hunted out of it on a rainy Tuesday and then shot a nice 8 pointer out of it on Wednesday. Handy little tripod for hunting around cutovers and yes you will have to modify pads on armrest and shooting rail. Over very pleased!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for Bowhunting Good Tripod for the money! However its not very quite and the ground must be level. I could not move an inch without it squeaking or popping. I took the gun rest and turned it upside down and made it a foot rest. That worked good, but will have to get some pipe to make the foot rest more sturdy. I will have to make some modifications to make it suitable for bow hunting. It will work great for gun hunting. I was able to put it up and take it down by myself. It is light enough for one person to carry for a short distance. I would not try to carry it by myself in brush or thick trees because the chair would hang up on everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect Almost perfect for the intended use/price. I made 4 modifications to make it better. 1) The back rest is guaranteed to fall off so I stabbed a scissors through it above and below the rail on each side. Then stabbed/fed through a piece of 3/4" webbing like on a back pack and tied each webbing loop in the back. Now very firmly secured. 2) I installed economy 3/4" foam pipe insulation on the 2 arm rests and the entire shooting rail. I secured by completely wrapping with cheap vinyl electrical tape from Harbor Freight. 3) I cut an old 3/4" wrench in half. I tack welded one end of the wrench to the bolt head and the other half to the nut. This facilitates a no tools needed separation of the seat from the leg assembly for transport in and out of the field. The wrench is now an integral part of the bolt/nut. 4) Not really a modification but a masons nylon string and a carpenters line level (string level) will be packed along to wrap around the brace brackets to level the unit with 2x6 blocks as needed Of course drilled to accept some stakes/pins so the boards don't shift from under the feet. The only thing left to make it perfect would be if it weighed 10 pounds, someone else set it up for me, and the quarry cooperated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Explorer1803 Bought this for my wife and she loves it. However, here a few things to consider. This stand is a little bulky to carry very far afield especially going in and around trees. You really need two people to carry it any distance. The instructions call for three people to put it up and take down. Two can do it, just be careful. The seat and seat back are pretty flimsy. I adapted a piece of plywood for the seat and put foam padding on top and it works great. Some of the bolts worked themselves a little loose so check them occasionally. Overall after one season of use, were happy with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Price was right Used the tripod stand a lot for crossbow hunting. A few modifications to make it better, but very happy with the stand overall. Mods were to take out 5" from the bar rest as it was too high for the xbow, and the other was to add a plywood platform for my feet and to allow standing (for using compound bow). Ordered a second one as there are more places than one that I will hunt.
