Reviews
Benjamin Trail Nitro Piston XL725 .25 cal. Air Rifle is rated 4.75 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice "toy" No its not a toy by any means. I have only fired about fifty shots so its not quite broken in yet.I was shooting at 25 yards with no wind. I was hitting the bulls eye after about twenty shots. I had a piece of 4X4 wood that I tossed down the trail I shooting at. I hit half inch low of center at 45 paces. Maybe I got lucky. It took a few times to get used to cocking it but that will improve with time. I have not killed anything with it yet but hope to be ready when I hunt hogs in a couple of months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great air rifle Excellent product by Benjamin division of Crosman, an American manufacturer. The nitrogen-filled piston is reliable, durable, relatively quiet (as opposed to spring guns) and accurate. I bought this as a heavier caliber for hunting than my Benjamin nitro-piston .22 caliber. I love it, but I just had to have it in .25, and I am thrilled. Good workmanship, great feel when bringing it to my shoulder -- it fits. Very accurate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Benjamin Air Rifle is well made and though I have not run it through its paces I am impressed with the fit and finish of the components. Shame on Crossman for using plastic for the sling connections instead of metal, though and I would have liked to have iron sights as a backup to the scope, which has reasonable optics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am sorry to say that.. This is the second Benjamin Air Rifle to try out and thought the second one was going to be batter. Benjamin has to do his homework to fix the Trigger problem (is real bad) Also they need some real Tool and Die Makers to make the Barrels of the Rifles. The Rifle has no accuracy after20'. The only good thing the Rifle has is the Power and nothing else. Over all useless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an excellent adult airgun for the price. I only wish I would have bought one sooner. It is accurate, powerful and substantial in size and weight. The well known flaws are the trigger, which should be replaced, and the poor finish of the stock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like the Center Point scope that came the rifle. Very clear crisp view. The .25 cal. is very hard hitting. I've only had the chance to target shoot, and it preforms great at 30-40 yds. With the right right ammo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This rifle is a little better than I expected. AT first I experienced acuracy issues even well beyond any expected break-in period, but the problem was fixed by adding thread locker to the scope mounts, ring mounts, and stock screws. Before that they would loosen up after several shots. Now I am very satisfied with the gun.
