Reviews
Benjamin Trail BBP77 Nitro Piston Air Pistol is rated 4.25 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from PRICE WAS GOOD FOR PRODUCT I HAVE RECEIVED IT AND ALSO FIRED IT ABOUT 50 TIMES SO I HAVE A BASIS FOR THIS REVIEW. IT IS A VERY LARGE, HEAVY TYPE AIR PISTOL AND HAVING HAD TWO OLDER HAND PUMPED BENJAMIN .177's THIS WAS A FACTOR IN MAKING THIS BUY. THEY WERE VERY ACCURATE AND HAD A GOOD RANGE. SIGHTS ON THE BJ.TRAIL ARE NOT, AS THEY LOOK GREAT WITH THE RED FRONT SITE & THE GREEN HIGHLIGHTED REAR SITE. BUT !-COULD NOT BE ADJUSTED FOR ANY CONSISTENT HITS ON A 4" BULL FROM 100' OR EVEN 50'. THE NITRO FEATURE IS NOT BROKEN IN YET , HOWEVER IT IS DIFFICULT TO CHARGE, AND DOSE NOT PROVIDE THE POWER I WAS LOOKING FOR AT THIS TIME. IT DOES NEED A BETTER REAR AJD. SIGHT AND A MORE TRUE ADJUSTMENT WITH OUT FALLING OFF AS SCREW COMES OUT WHEN FIRED SEVERAL TIMES. COCKING ASSIST IS VITAL, AS WITH OUT IT COCKING WOULD BE BAD, BAD !I WII REVIEW IT AGAIN AFTER 200 SHOTS TO BE FAIR AND TRY TO FIND A BETTER ALTERNATE SITE TO TRY, AS AT PRESENT AM NOT PLEASED WITH IT'S PERFORMANCE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This air pistol is quiet and powerful. It is an excellent gun. The front sight is too tall, so I had to add a longer screw in the back sight to make the gun hit the bullseye.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gun was as advertised. Hopefully with differant sight it will shoot better. Front sight was or is too high and adjustments on rear sight not enough. The trigger pull was really heavy.and the adjustment screw didn't cure the problem, However its worth fooling with being a new system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The nitro piston isn't much quieter than a regular pistol. I think any break barrel gun pretty much sounds the same. I have a Gamo w/ a noise supressor and it sounds about the same as all my other guns.
