A quick word on this All-Purpose Monocular's ITT Pinnacle™ Image Intensifier Tubes... The ATN Night Vision Units with the 3P designation use ITT Pinnacle Image Intensifier Tubes. In fact the 6015 was based off of the PVS14. Side-by-side, the primary difference I see is that the image intensifier tube on the PVS14 is a &quot;Pinnacle (from ITT Night Vision)&quot;, where the 6015-3 uses a &quot;Standard&quot;.The difference between these tubes are that the Pinnacle uses an auto-gated power supply, which helps reduce haloing in light-polluted areas.Both of these types of scopes do have an Infrared Illuminator. <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Customer Service</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2015-01-06</div> </div> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-questionsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-questionsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-questions--><ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">2015-04-26T15:43CST</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_cps, prod_bvqa, vn_cps_3.1.1</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasquestionsanswers, tq_1</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_US, sid_180497, PRD, sort_recentAnswersFirst</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_sportmansguide</li></ul><!--end-bvseo-questions--><!--BVSEO|dz:Main_Site-en_US|sdk:v1.0.7.0-n|msg:timer 140ms -->
