Rated 1 out of 5 by from have not been able to assemble after two weeks I have not been able to assemble this product and feel safe doing so. the instruction manual reads as if it were written by some one who failed an English as a second language course. A short video would have been helpful and inexpensive. Am considering retuning it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall satisfied! I am glad I read all the reviews for this bow and others like it. For the price, I am satisfied. The assembly instructions could have been better. All parts were there. The only thing I did not like is the elevation adjustment for the sight. It has wings, as that of a wing nut. When using the rope cocker at times the rope would touch the wings and change the setting. I eliminated this by cutting them off. (plastic) I then cut a grove in the knob so adjustment could be made with a coin or screwdriver. I have yet to hunt with it but I have no doubt that it can do the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bow for the price I bought this primarily as a backup to my Barnett Panzer V in advance of an upcoming public archery hunt. I spent some time comparing the Jaguar, SA-Sport and AP Inferno II packages before opting for the Inferno II; based in large part on other reviews, included accessories and the anti-dry fire mechanism. Also noted AP's website and ready availability of parts. Bow went together easily with the exception of stringing the prod. After one unsuccessful attempt I took it to a local sporting goods store and had a bow technician string it. Should also mention that I contacted AP with a question during assembly and got a very swift and helpful response. While it comes with both iron sights and a red dot I opted for the latter. It only took about half a dozen shots to sight in. Bottomline, bow is very accurate, seems to be very well built and based on penetration in my broadhead target would seem to be more than adequate for whitetail deer. Not quite as powerful as my Panzer V but still more than enough oomph if kept to reasonable crossbow ranges. Some people seem to think that means out to 75 or more yards. That is INCORRECT. Like any other archery equipment, shots should be kept under 40 yards and preferably under 30. Bolts may depart a X-bow faster than arrows leave most traditional verticals but they lose velocity much quicker. Archery hunting is a short-range proposition, which is part of the attraction. Should also mention that the included aluminum arrows struck me as very good quality contrary to some other reviewers, although I did buy Easton 20" carbons for hunting and paired them with Allen Rocky Mountain 1" broadheads, which fly to same impact as field points. All in all, very complete package and very impressive quality; especially given Sportsman's Guide's terrific price. Same bow package sells for nearly twice as much on some competing sights.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great deal for a starter crossbow I received the crossbow package as it was advertised, and have put it together and made some practice shots with it. The three dot scope did not work out at all as no matter what corrections I made, the crossbow kept shooting to the off to the right. Took the scope off and was shooting a centered 2 1/2" group using the open sights. I would like to see Arrow Precision come up with a cranking type cocking device for this bow just to make things a little easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely impressed with the product. I currently own a Horton crossbow that my 12yr. old son has taken over. I wanted something that I could carry while hunting with him and something that my daughter could use on the 1 or 2 days she hunts per year. I did not want to put a lot of money into it, so I took a chance on this crossbow. The crossbow actually seems better made than the Horton and although not quite as fast it is just as accurate.
