Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for the price Yes you do need tools to put it on but if your going to start working on your own AR its time to buy the tools. Fit and function are perfect only flaw I can find is I wish it came in longer bodels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a good hand guard. I seen this hand guard in a catalog and I first thought this was cheap and probably not very good. I was wrong. It's a breeze to put on but you need a barrel tool and most importantly a vise block to put the receiver in. So after I installed it, I put locktite on the threads so it won't come unscrewed. I'm using this on a 6.8 SPC build and I couldn't be any more happier with this. It's way cheaper than any other hand guard but not in quality. It's pretty tough and can take a beating. The top rail sits perfectly flush with any A3 upper. I didn't need directions and I'll be buying more of these from here on out. In total it took me about an hour to install this. You have to know how to take apart an upper receiver to install this. I plan on getting another for a SBR .300 AAC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This 6" Free-Float quad rail is very well made and fits perfect for the 7" bbl that I am using on my newest AR15 build. It is very sturdy and easy to attach, even though it did not have any instructions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I thought it was two haves that bolt together. It was one pease and would not fit over front sight of rifle. Had to return.
