Reviews
AR-15 16" Heavy Barrel Assembly is rated 4.4706 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, usable barrel... Bought the 7.62x39 variant, and it headspaced perfectly with a cheap bolt that I sourced from another supplier. The heavy barrel shoots a little smoother than the lightweight profile, while only adding about 8oz weight to the rifle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for... I figured why not??? the price is great! Then literally less than 2-3k rounds it started to keyhole, the barrel does not last, I do a lot of shooting and this was by far the quickest barrel to wear out, I do have 90 and 100 round mags I have used but always let it cool after and rarely use them anyways, I have never had a problem with any other brand of barrel with the amount and kind of shooting I do, definitely not worth the price for it being a heavy 5.56 barrel and failing that quickly, stay away unless u rarely shoot, otherwise stay away! it is not worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great deal I purchased this to build a dedicated upper to switch out with my 5.56.It is a nice heavy barrel. I have had no problems(cross my fingers) with it yet.Right now , the 7.62x39 ammo is still cheaper than 5.56 and gives you more BANG for your buck, so it is definitely worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Price for an AR Barrel with 7.62X39 Stopping Power! My friends asked me 'Why would you want an AR chambered in 7.62X39?' - Stopping Power and Availability of Ammo The Barrel shipped fast! I had no issues with the threads on the barrel nut provided and assembling the upper was straight forward with no unexpected surprises. The barrel is a 'heavy' and does not come with the front sight post internals so don't be surprised, but all these details are spelled out in the product descriptions!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I BOUGHT ONE OF THESE HEAVY BARRELS LAST YEAR AND PUT IT ON A BUSCHMASTER UPPER AND LOWER SET, AND IT MATCHED THE FINISH. IT WENT ON EASY AND SHOOTS GREAT. I'VE SHOT 32 COYOTES WITH IT SO FAR! I'M THINKING ABOUT GETTING THE 7.62 FOR ANOTHER BUILD

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price right calibre setup for hunting, 223 is just too small for wild boar this or 50 Beowulf is the ticket have 250 in the upper swap out in five minutes go from varmint to problem solving
