Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent blind! Ameristep makes a very good product and the price-point is acceptable. This sets up easily and works well. I'm pleased with its test-run and have one small criticism. Over the front shooting access, Ameristep has painted their logo in blue; animals can see blue very well...I'd suggest covering this with flat black spray paint so nothing attracts attention to this location. Other than A-1 product and price. Thanks SPG!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Deer Hunter's Tool I have used mine a few times this season. Just got it last week. I set it up in the field in the dark with no problems. Easy to take down and put back in the bag if you watch the YouTube video that shows you how to do it.I had a big 6 point buck come in within 20 yards and never spooked. It looked my way and just went about his business. I couldn't get a shot in the thick brush. It was only the second time I had had it in that spot.Blends in well and does not spook my deer. I wish I had discovered it a long time ago.Bill

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Portable Blind I've used the Ameristep Doghouse bind for around five years. It has been a good blind. Set-up is easy, take-down is a little tricky. The first couple years I used this blind, I left it set up for several months at a time. It's weathered several storms and high winds without damage, but the field mice helped themselves to the anchor straps and the shoulder straps of the carry bag. My blind should have several more years of use left in it. I would like to see a storage pocket sewn in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The blind opened very easily and looks great, but getting it break down and return to its case was a terrible ordeal. Poor instructions.
