Details & Specs

American Coin Treasures® Lincoln Memorial Penny 50 - Pc. Collection.

In the early 20th Century, Victor D. Brenner designed the Lincoln Cent, originally issued in 1909 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Lincoln's birth. In 1959, Frank Gasparro designed a new reverse featuring the famous Lincoln Memorial to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's birth.

Because the Lincoln Penn has been in circulation for so many years, the obverse image on the Lincoln Penny now has the distinction of having been reproduced on more coins than any design in history. Here's 50 of these favorites, one from every year of issue 1959-2008. Includes certificate of authenticity.

Lincoln Coin Checkers Set gives a new twist to one of the oldest games in the history of man.

Ever the competitor, Abe Lincoln played checkers with his sons at Soldier's Home, a cottage retreat. So what could be more "cents-able" than this Lincoln Checkers Set? It's cleverly comprised of Lincoln copper wheat ear pennies and Lincoln steel pennies... and in the spirit of patriotism, a red and blue game board! To honor the 16th U.S. President, the game board features Lincoln's unmistakable face. Game pieces are 12 Lincoln copper wheat ear pennies minted from 1909 to 1958, with the exception of 1943, when there was a war-related copper shortage, as well as 12 Lincoln steel pennies minted in 1943.

The moves:
  • Includes certificate of authenticity
  • 12 x 1/8 x 12", 6 ozs.

It's the truth... you'll love this tribute to Abe! Honest! Order ONLINE today!
