Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Round! Using 223 rounds by various manufacturers allowed greater perspective for writing this review. Upon firing this round, I find my shot groups are similar to more expensive brands. There are some who shy away from purchasing "bargain" ammunition, believing it to be of inferior quality. While that may be true in some instances, it does not apply here. In my humble opinion, this Russian-made product is up to the task, and for the price, perhaps unmatched. When consideration is given to the necessity of expending rounds in order to maintain tactical readiness, Wolf Ammo is an attractive alternative. The old adage, "You get what you pay for" is certainly applicable in some cases. However, there is also the concept of paying extra for the name on a brand. I find Wolf ammo is comparable to more expensive name brands, and I recommend this product to anyone looking for 223 rounds at an excellent price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just What I Expected I ordered 2 sardine cans of 500 rounds on a Saturday, they were delivered on Tuesday. As described, each can was packed in its own box with a can opener included with each. Thanks to UPS the boxes, clearly marked with .223 AMMUNITION sat outside on the front porch for about 6 hours before I got home. Glad no neighborhood kids got into them. Great product, great price, thanks SG!

Wolf® Gold .223 Ammo has been one of our top sellers for years. Now's your chance to find out why for LESS!

If you want to break in a new barrel without breaking the bank, Wolf Gold is the right call. If you want to take your family out for a day of shooting without spending a fortune, Wolf Gold is the right call. For practice, close-range drills, 3-gun events and more, you won't find a better value.

We love Wolf Gold Ammo... and we're not the only ones! Check out the reviews and see what your fellow Shooters have to say about it.

  • Sealed primers and bullets make Wolf Gold Ammunition easy to store long-term... so if you want to stockpile it now (we wouldn't blame you at this price) and sit on it for a while, you won't have to worry if it'll last. It will.
  • The brass case means a hotter load than its steel-case equivalent, for those of you who want a little more horsepower. The brass case expands better, so it's more powerful AND cleaner-shooting
  • Wolf Gold Ammo isn't "fussy"... even in finicky ARs. We know that a lot of rifles are picky about what they eat, but Wolf Gold Rounds perform flawlessly across a wide range of guns
  • Muzzle velocity: 3,250 f.p.s.
  • Muzzle energy: 1,289 ft.-lbs.
Top-class brass for a cut-rate price!
