The item that I purchased this time, unfortunately did not work. The motor did not work on it, so I will be returning it for a refund. I'm still very satisfied with you products, and I will be ordering from Sportsman Guide again.

Great value for the money. Assembly and programming were not difficult and it works well. I am using it to dispense scratch grains in a chicken coup.

For the price, this feeder has worked excellent!! Due to my poor mounting/hanging, it fell into some mud and water got into the timer/motor section, but I poured the water out, dried the electronics out, and believe it or not,it is still working great today. I had it running 15 seconds/day for months with a cheap battery from H.F.

The Feeder works very well, the time setup took me a minute to figure out but when I got it up and running it is working great.

To Feed Or Not To Feed

Jay E. from New York writes to ask about supplemental feed and deer antlers. "I read that putting out supplemental feed year-round will give bucks on my hunting area larger antlers. Is there data to prove that, or is it just a sales tactic for supplemental feed."

Pros & Cons Of Supplemental Deer Feeding: Part 1

The Food Plot Plans

Just the act of performing a soil test was enough to make me feel like a food plot professional; that is, until I got back the results. I needed to amend the soil by adding from 4,000 to 8,000 pounds of lime per acre!
