Rated 5 out of 5 by from great price Since I am a retired Paratrooper and Special Forces Army Soldier, I am always in need of 550 Parachute Suspension Lines, They can be used in a multitude of handy ways. All Special Forces Soldiers are at a loss when the don't have their little ball of twine. (Parachute Cord). JT

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a good product to have during camping or in any emergency. Have used the para chord many times during two nam tours for making overnight shelter especially during the raining season. It was easy to use on my poncho and liner tying off to branches. It stayed with me through two tours and held up well inthe elements. Also used it in Alaska during high altitude ski trips tying down my tent in high winds. Used my poles and skis as tent stakes securing each corner of the tent with my para chord. Have tried fishing with it but was never successful. Very useful in tying sleeping bag and other things to my ironworks backpack. I suppose there are other uses but this is just a couple of areas that I used the para chord successfully.
