Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good for the price. I have lots of "spare" AK magazines around and these ammo pouches are great of keeping them together and ready to go. When I go to the range I just grab a pouch and I'm off. No fuss, no bother. The canvas is a bit stiff from prolonged storage, but it will stretch out quickly enough. The three slings are very good quality and can be used with a number of rifles or other uses.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Condition Pouches, Slings O.k. Thankfully I really ordered this for the slings, because they appeared to be in newer condition. But the pouches on the other hand were literally in un-sellable condition. It was apparent right away why this was such a good price. Maybe you will have better luck than I did? Who knows? All I know for sure is that the pouches were obviosly previously issued, which would not have been a problem if one of them wasn't covered in what appeared to be aged human feces, and the other two had either highly repaired belt loops, or worn out leather straps that won't hold a pouch shut correctly. If you are just looking for slings, you should be alright.. Maybe?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Typical Surplus. I ordered this "3 Pouches, 3 Slings" deal and got just that. Upon opening and inspection I found One of the Green cotton 3-Mag pouches to be almost new, and by almost used a few times and taken well care of. The second pouch was in a little worse shape, but still usable. The third was pretty well beat up and shrunk to the point where 30-round magazines would not fit. 20-round mags fit fine. The "Other" pockets on the pouch are for Cleaning/Maintenance tools and an Oil Bottle which is a handy feature in my opinion. Now onto the slings: They're cheap nylon slings. Not much to say except one was missing the metal hook for attachment to a firearm. No big deal, as a replacement can be fashioned out of scrap metal or wire with a few minutes of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT VALUE! All 3 mag pouches and slings where brand new and still had that stored away military smell to them. Which I love! One problem though you can not get 3 plastic magazines in the pouches. You can get 2 plastic and one metal or 3 metal 30 round mags to fit though perfect. The slings looked brand new with METAL parts. Unless your Tiny Tim you'll never be able to shoulder an AK 47. Why? They are a little shorter than a real "commie" leather/ canvas sling but it did fit my pistol grip 12 gauge just fine. I bet they might fit some of my other shorter rifles?Since one equals out the other and I can make the slings longer. This is a 5 star MOST EXCELLENT DEAL!Heck, I paid $10.00 for just one funky chicken pouch in the past.I'm fixin' to order another set of these because it is such a great deal.If you can figure out how and where to put the dozen pouches/36 mags/1080 rounds I'll now have without my pants falling off or breaking my back let me know!SEMPER FIDELIS!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You really can't beat these for 8 dollars. I paid about 8 bucks for 3 of these. I could not be happier. These are authentic AK pouches. They are musty smelling old, militaria and are an awesome way to carry your AK 47/74 magazines. The slings are a type which I have never seen before, which is neat.
