2,500 - lb. ATV Winch with Rocker Switch is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great budget winch I put this winch on my 2004 Polaris 330 magnum in 2007. I use it more than I thought I would. I pull a 2,000lb travel trailer out of it's parking spot with it with no problems. I've used it for other things around the house, like pulling bush stumps out. The free spool clutch only lets out about 10ft of cable before re-engaging. To get the full spool of cable out you need to "bungi" the release or hold it with one hand and and pull the cable with the other, letting it pile up at your feet. You can't grab the hook and walk to the hookup point. The wiring instructions and diagram that came with mine didn't match the colors on the contactor or the wires on the switches, so it was a bear to wire up. I'm an airplane mechanic and was able to figure it out and correct the diagram. Be prepared for some frustration if yours is the same. Once installed it's worked well without fault for years of use. I installed the contactor in the storage box under the seat for weather protection and put a winch cover on the winch.
