Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality cheap ammo Most of us shooters are not what I would call expert long range shooters. I find that this ammo is good all around shooting and devastating for plinking. When I do precision shooting I go to Hornaday. I use this ammo for warm up and it works very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TOP NOTCH I am well pleased. My Ruger 556 delivered 10" to 15" groups at 500 meters. That's exceptional accuracy with an inexpensive round. Colt and Blackhills have a winner here. A slight negative is the impacts are markedly lower than my aim point for standard XM855 62 grain 5.56 ammo. My true regret is the ammo is now sold out. I'm looking forward to buying a full case next time. This 62 grain ammo is acceptable out to any reasonable 5.56 distance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but Not True Colt Ammo I didn't buy this because of the Colt name; I purchased it because it was cheap. No issues after testing a couple boxes, so I will likely pick up some more in the future. Fairly accurate out of a 1:7 barrel. About as dirty as the other Russian stuff available in .223.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I shot over 200 rounds through my M&P 15 sport and i did not have a single problem the only thing is its pretty dirty ammo but who cares i can shoot loads of this stuff for cheap and get cleaning supplies for the money i save its a win win.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT AMMO Great ammo at great prices...used them in my Colt Competion AR15...not one problem !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from CHRONOGRAPHED AT 2500FPS!!! This WAS my go to ammo. I bought it cheap and stacked it deep. It is silver bear ammo in a different box for starters and shoots very tight groups. I get sub 2 inch groups at 100 yards all day with this stuff and i never had a failure of any kind with it. Now the down side. I chronographed most of my ammo and this stuff is leaving my 16" barrel at 2550fps average. thats right, 2550fps. it should be about 2900 with a 16" barrel but its not. XM193 (5.56x45 55gr mil spec ammo) shoots just under 3100fps out of my gun. So i guess what i am saying is you pay less for the ammo but they are using less powder or something. you can tell this stuff is soft loaded just by shooting it. i would think it wouldnt cycle my action but it does which is why i still use it a little. The only reason the low velocity really turns me off is my reticle for my scope will be way off with this ammo. might switch over to wolf or wolf gold which is shooting just over 3000fps. if you are plinking under 200 yards this stuff should do you fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and great value! Great value and price. I've purchased many of these rounds, and they work fine. No problems at all. Will buy more as time goes by.
