Small size. Gave to my wife. I paired these with both the WX2-219154 and the WX2-581936 liners, and both make for a tight fit with limited range of motion or dexterity. May be good riding a motorcycle, but not for shooting any kind of gun. Seem well made, however.

These were actually new black leather shooter's mittens & are nice quality. I ordered them in XL with intention of using thin liners with them & they work well. I like mittens over gloves for keeping my hands warm in cold weather for shoveling snow, atv riding, hiking etc., where I don't need use of all my fingers. The separate "trigger finger" on these are a little thick for actual use as a trigger finger, but work fine for operating my atv winch buttons, etc.

I realized a common ingredient in my outerwear -- neoprene. What did we do without it?

Camping 101: Choose The Right Glove For Your Next Adventure

I imagine the first gloves were merely strips of hide wrapped around the hands of our prehistoric ancestors. Presumably in the course of completing a task while wearing this protective covering, a resourceful "caveman" learned he could more easily pick up rocks or sticks than with his unprotected bare hand. Leap ahead several hundred millenniums to present day and the utility of the glove has changed little although the materials and fabrication of hand wear has clearly entered the 21st century.

Clothes Make The Fisherman

Fishing certainly doesn't have to be a fashion show, but the clothes you choose to wear can have a direct impact on your comfort levels when out on the water. And in my mind, the more comfortable and relaxed you are, the greater your chances for finding fishing success.

Here is a rundown on what's out there, what it will do and won't do, and how it performs in different situations.
