Introduced in 1986, the American Eagle Silver Bullion Coins are recognized the world over as triumphs of modern coinage. Struck of one full ounce of lustrous .999 fine silver, the design is based on A.A. Weinman's 1916 Walking Liberty, widely considered one of the most elegant coins ever minted.
