Reviews
18th Century .54 cal. Blunderbuss Kit is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Kit and Sooo much FUN! I bought this to finally try out a kit and to see if I would like shooting a black powder shotgun. The kit went together easily. I did not have to do anything other than stain the wood and blue the barrel. It came out great and is the envy of the range every time I have taken it out. 80-90 grains of FFFG and 80 BB's as the load. The spread is perfect for 25 yards and I would hate to be on the wrong end of this weapon. Easy to shoot and quick to clean up. Even the range master wanted to shoot it. I love this gun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. Easy to complete. The brass butt plate could be cut and fitted better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The metal work on the blunderbuss was excellent but I found the wood work to be less than expected. I knew I would need to finish the stock but didn't realize that the hollowed out inletting would be so rough! I had to clear numerous chunks of wood in order for the action to function properly and smooth quite a few protruding areas as well with a dremil tool. All in the action mechanism cavities. I haven't shot this gun yet because I need to aquire the shot and powder but I look forward to it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very happy with product although I couldn't get it shipped to Alaska. I had to have it shipped to a relative who then mailed it to me because it is perfectly legal to ship antique or replica firearms through the mail.
