Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great for dragging off limbs and trees with my tractor to a central brush pile. Much easier than using a large chain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough at great price This is the third strap I've purchased. First one we cut towing a tractor trailer...did not break...we tied it back together and kept using it. Not your fault. Gave another one to my brother who tows a lot....heavy stuffBought one to keep in my pickup for future use. Can't beat this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value-Tow Strap, Not snatch strap, 6600 Lb Working Load Limit This looks to be well made, branded as GRIP, made in China, as most are today. It has the style of a snatch strap--but is what it says it is--a TOW strap; Like most others, it states the breaking strength as the capacity--but the working load limit is 6660 pounds. I'm just learning about the difference--for safety purposes the basic rule is to avoid exceeding the working load limit--that 6660 figure means that it is safe to use it on a receiver hitch shackle that is 3/4" with a WWL of 4 3/4 ton. It also means that you should not try to pull out a grounded 3/4 ton stuck in mud, or if you do that it might break. This is true of some straps advertised (elsewhere) as "Recovery Straps." Recovery straps are more commonly known as "snatch straps," and are made of 100% nylon and designed, on purpose, to stretch up to 30-35%, creating kinetic force, that help in increasing the pull on the vehicle to be recovered, so that it 'snatches' it like a bungee cord stretched building up force, until it pops the stuck vehicle. Don't use this tow strap like that--even though Grip says it can be used for towing or recovery--it means a slow steady pull. The rolling weight working load on even a big diesel 3/4 ton HD Crew Cab will be well less than 6660, so for towing, this should be fine. It is easy to handle, won't tear your hands like steel cable would, and is a lot easier to use than chain. But be careful anchoring it and don't snatch or 'jerk' with it. Overall, it's a nice looking tow strap, and the hook-less varieties like this are the standard today--there is no hook to go flying should the strap break. I'm giving it 4 stars because I haven't tested it yet, and because it uses two rows of single stitching in the reinforced loops, rather than two rows of double stitching like some considerably more expensive straps say they do, but some reviewers don't agree.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Price for Great Product The product worked great and was needed a few days after I got it. We had quite a bit of snow and someone was stuck in a snow bank. Strapped it to my F150 and pulled them out no issues
