Once a con game, now a treasured collectible. The 1883 Liberty Nickel was called the "Racketeer" nickel because of its similarity to the $5 gold piece. Con artists of the time found they could layer the nickel in gold and pass it off as the $5 gold piece. The word "cents" was eventually added beneath the Roman numeral V on the coin to stop the fraud. Own a piece of "racketeering history" embedded in this distinctive Pocket Knife.
