Summary Image Walleye and panfish anglers are supposed to be the only ones crazy enough to fish through the winter. But, don't tell that to Jonn Graham. He's a fan of smallmouth bass, and he chases them throughout the Midwest as long as he can find a stream where the water is still running. "Friends ask me, 'What are you doing out in the middle of winter?' I tell them I can't catch smallmouth sitting at home. And, the fish are lonely," Graham said. "Sure, your line freezes in the cold. But, that's part of the fun."
