The easy-to-install solar panel captures power from the sun to charge up the 23 watt-hour battery within the control box. Use the control box to power up 3 hanging lights, tune into FM radio, or use the USB charge-out for recharging smartphones, ipads, and more. The hanging lights daisy chain together from a single power source, but their brightness levels can be controlled individually.
With all 4 lights on, 1 day of full sun provides a 14-hr. runtime on low, 7 hours on medium, and 4.5 hours on high. An integrated LED display on the control box provides real-time feedback on your sun strength and available battery power. This convenient portable solution is perfect for vans, sheds, outdoor adventures, and as a backup during a power outage. Everything conveniently packs in a kit that's the size of a shoebox.
Cold Weather Notice: Originally designed for use in sub-Saharan Africa, the SolarHome 620+ Control Box does not operate outdoors in freezing conditions. If using in a cold environment, ensure the Control Box is used indoors in warmer temperatures. As with any battery, extreme cold will impact the runtime.
